Omaha, NE – Omaha City Councilman Don Rowe kicked off his re-election campaign tonight, December 18th, at Charlie's on the Lake in Millard, joined by over 75 supporters including Mayor Jean Stothert, Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine, and State Senator Kathleen Kauth. Rowe highlighted his focus on economic development, public safety, fiscal responsibility, and affordable housing as he seeks to continue delivering results for District 5.

A proud resident of Omaha and Millard for over 25 years, Rowe has built a career as a small business owner and now serves as Vice President of Sales at Millard Lumber. He highlighted his efforts to cut taxes, invest in critical infrastructure, and create a business-friendly environment to support local growth. His commitment to public safety includes increasing police pay to strengthen recruitment and investing in fire services to keep neighborhoods safe.

Omaha's recognition as the #1 City to Move to in America by Forbes reflects the city's growth, affordability, and strong community values.

"Omaha is a city of opportunity, and we need to keep building on this momentum," Rowe said. "Our economic strength and quality of life are second to none, and I'm committed to ensuring Omaha remains the top choice for families and businesses."

"I'm running to keep Omaha the best place to live, work, and raise a family," said Rowe. "We've made real progress, but there's more to do. I'll keep fighting for our families, businesses, and neighborhoods."
